Description

No. 9 Broad Street is a house with a shop, now used as offices, dating from the early 19th century. The building is rendered and features an artificial slate roof with a plain gable on the north side and an abutment to the south, along with a brick chimney stack.

The exterior consists of three storeys and a single bay. The ground floor has a mid-20th century shop front, which includes quarry tile pilasters and stall risers, a plain fascia, and an entrance set in a recess on the left. On the first floor, there is a square oriel window with a lead flat roof that incorporates four-over-sixteen-over-four pane sash windows. The second floor features a 12-pane sash window in a plain surround.

The interior has not been inspected.
