Description
The Butler monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 10 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the 18th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and fielded panels, with one panel on each end and two on each side. There is no frieze, and it has a moulded hipped top with rounded leading edges. Most of the inscriptions have worn away, but one on the west end commemorates Elizabeth Butler, who died in 1807.
