Description
The Halcon Centre is an early 19th-century house with later additions, situated in its own grounds. The entrance front faces east and features two storeys. The building is constructed of stucco with banded quoins on the left side, while a whitewashed brick wing projects from the right. It has a slate roof with an eaves cornice. The original front has four windows, one of which is blocked, all with architrave surrounds and sash windows that include glazing bars. There is a small later bay on the right side of the ground floor. The entrance is highlighted by a Greek Doric doorcase with fluted three-quarter columns, leading to double doors with a fanlight above. The garden front, which faces west, includes a pediment with an oculus and a central bay.
