Description
The Old Bakery is an early 19th-century detached house located on the east side of Queen Street in Tintinhull. The house is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with rendered and colourwashed sides. It has a plain clay tile roof, stone slate base courses, and rendered chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high, with three bays. It features sash windows with 16 panes, set within openings defined by double courses of fine gauged brickwork, flat arches, and stone sills. A part-glazed six-panel door is located in a matching opening to the lower bay of the second bay. A long, lean-to addition was built against the north gable in the early 20th century, featuring a segmental arched three-light casement window and a doorway. An outshut is located to the rear. The interior was not inspected during the listing evaluation.
