Description

This is a pair of cottages located in Queen Street, Tintinhull, dating from the early 19th century. They are built of ham stone rubble with a double Roman clay tiled roof, featuring stepped coped gables and brick chimney stacks. Each cottage has one bay and two storeys. They have small metal casement windows set within plain openings with voussoired flat arches of two lights. Each has a doorway in their centre; number 32 has a stone outer porch, which was under construction in July 1985, and number 34 has a porch constructed from timber and metal sheeting. An outshut extends to the rear. The interiors have not been inspected. These are a pair of very simple cottages that appear to be largely unaltered.
