Description

The Barley Mow is a late 18th-century inn, now a house, located on the east side of High Street in Evercreech. Constructed of coursed rubble with freestone dressings, it has a slate roof with coped verges and both an ashlar and a brick stack. The building is rectangular and symmetrical, with a four-bay facade. It features 12-pane sash windows set in stone surrounds. A central door opening is framed by an architrave and a stone triangular pediment, with a 20th-century plank door.
