Description
This is a barn located at the rear of Stratton Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble with freestone dressings, featuring coped verges and a slate roof. The barn has two storeys and is divided into five bays, with tall plank doors and freestone jambs on the left side. In the center, there is a throughway, while the right side has two two-light moulded stone-mullioned windows on the ground floor, each with labels, and a pitching eye on the first floor. There is also a central depressed-arch door opening with a key and a plank door. Pigeon holes can be found under the eaves on the right side. At the rear, there is a lean-to structure with a corrugated-iron roof.
