Description
Stratton House is a small country house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of Doulting ashlar with coped verges and has a slate roof with end concrete block stacks. The building is symmetrical, featuring two storeys with a layout of 2:1:2 bays. It has 12-pane sash windows set in moulded stone architraves, with the outer windows paired and separated by a central stone dividing mullion. The central entrance is framed by a stone doorcase with pilasters, an entablature, and a triangular pediment, leading to a 6-panelled door, of which the top two panels are glazed. To the left of the house, there is a tall rubble and brick wall that forms a garden boundary.
