Description

Rock Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, is a building that has been used as a farmhouse and is now a house. It is constructed of rubble with dressed quoins, and has a slate roof with coped verges and brick stacks, one resting on an ashlar base. The front elevation is symmetrical, with two storeys and three bays. The first floor has four-pane sash windows set within moulded freestone architraves. The ground floor features two 19th-century canted bays with sash windows, each topped with a hipped slate roof. A central doorway is framed by a stone architrave and has a six-panelled door, the top two panels cut away and glazed. Above the door is a stone triangular pediment supported by brackets.
