Description

Nos 45 to 55 on Bridge Street are a terrace of three-storey houses built in the mid to late 19th century. They are constructed from brown brick and feature a freestone cornice band, sill bands, and occasional pilasters. The buildings have parapets and each house contains two windows, primarily sash windows with glazing bars. Number 55 has one blocked window and a curved window on the corner facing Wood Street. The original ground floor of Nos 47 and 53 includes a round-headed doorway with a fanlight and a four-panel door, and there is an original shopfront to the right. Nos 41 to 55 form a cohesive group.
