Description

Shawford Bridge over the River Frome is a bridge built around 1752 for the Black Dog Turnpike Trust. It is constructed of rubble with some ashlar stone. The bridge features three semi-circular arches with key stones, ashlar parapets with copings, and square ashlar piers on each side at both ends.
