Description
The building is a coach house and outbuildings located about 35 metres southeast of Kingweston House. It features a character from the 18th century but is likely from the 19th century. Constructed from local lias stone that is cut and squared, it has Doulting stone dressings and Welsh slate roofs with copings and ornamental finials. A timber bell turret with a lead roof and weathervane is situated on the north wing.
The structure is L-shaped and has two storeys. The south elevation of the north wing has two bays; the first bay features a lean-to, while the second bay has a tall semi-circular archway with a keystone, set beneath a coped gable that includes an oval opening in a rectangular stone. The west elevation of the south wing consists of three bays: the outer bays contain pairs of double doors in segmental arched openings with impost blocks and keystones, each topped by an oval window. The centre bay has similar larger doors, with a larger oval window above, set in a coped open-pedimented gable. The interior has not been seen.
