Description

Porch Cottage is a cottage dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble and features a slate roof with a brick stack on the right side. The building is one and a half storeys tall and consists of three bays. The upper storey has two-light casements in gabled dormers, while the ground floor has three-light casements. At the center, there is a gabled porch with a depressed arch head that leads to a studded plank inner door. The cottage is primarily listed for its group value with Half Moon Cottage and the Old Post Office.
