Description
This barn, located about 100 metres west of Church Farmhouse, dates back to 1855, as indicated by a tablet on the building. It is constructed from coursed roughly squared Doulting stone, featuring ashlar quoins. The roof is gabled and covered with Welsh slate, complete with copings and finials. The barn is a single storey with a first floor at the east end, designed in a T-plan layout. It has a gabled porch on the south side, which includes a full-height door opening and a date stone above it, along with a cruciform ventilation slit. Inside, there are 'A' frame trusses with ties and collars, and vertical ventilation slits with splayed reveals.
