Description

This is a 17th-century barn located about 80 metres east of Lodge Farmhouse. It is constructed of random rubble Doulting stone with ashlar quoins and features a gable roof covered in corrugated iron, complete with copings and finials. The barn is single storey with a loft at the west end and has a 'T' plan layout, including a gabled porch on the south side and a cart entrance on the north side. Inside, there are five bays supported by 'A' frame trusses with ties and collars. The structure also includes vertical ventilation slits with splayed reveals.
