Description

Church Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Norton St. Philip, Somerset, near Farleigh Hungerford. It is constructed from roughly squared Doulting stone with a gabled roof covered in stone slates, featuring copings, finials, and two-stage ashlar chimney stacks with moulded caps. The farmhouse has a double-pile plan and a three-window frontage facing south. The ground floor features 16-pane sash windows, with a central three-light casement window. The first floor has two-light stone mullioned windows with two-pane casements. The main entrance is in the right-hand (east) gable and consists of a four-panel door set within a stone architrave, sheltered by a flat stone hood with curved brackets.
