Description

This granary, located 15 metres northwest of Manor Farm House, is likely from the 18th century. It features a timber frame constructed with short red bricks and has a hipped roof made of corrugated iron, which has replaced the original thatch. The structure consists of six by four structural bays, with staddle stones supporting alternate bays. On the north side, there is a boarded door and timber barred windows, accessible by much decayed stone steps. There are also matching windows high in the west gable and in the centre of the east elevation. This granary is an unusual type for this part of the county.
