Description

Bridgfoot Cottage is a detached house dating from the 18th century. It is built of coursed rubble Doulting stone and features a roof covered with triple Delta clay tiles. The gable roof has coped gables with moulded kneelers and brick end chimney stacks. The cottage is two stories high and has a two-window front, with a central entrance that is sheltered by a gabled porch. The entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed. The windows are two-light, eight-pane casements set in plain stone mullioned frames. On the ground floor, the left-hand window has been replaced with a 20th-century metal door. Above the entrance door, there is a coved niche.
