Description

Peel Barton is a house that dates from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. It is constructed of rubble with render and has slate and tile roofs with coped verges and brick stacks. The building has a double-depth plan with two parallel ranges and stands two storeys high, featuring four bays and Gothick casements. There is a gabled porch with a Gothick traceried door. Some sash windows and casements are present in the returns and at the rear of the house. Inside, there is a reused Jacobean overmantle that forms a chimney-piece.
