Description
Battleton House is an early 19th-century house constructed with rendered rubble, featuring a slobbered rubble left return. The building has slate roofs with overhanging eaves and roughcast stacks located at the left gable end, between the first and second bays on the left, and between the third and fourth bays. It has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys high with a four-to-one bay arrangement. The end bay on the right is set back slightly and has an independently roofed design. The first floor is adorned with 16-pane sash windows, except for a 12-pane window above the entrance and a semi-circular headed window to the right. The ground floor also features 16-pane sash windows, a flat pilaster doorcase, a rectangular light with diagonal leading, and a panelled door. There are wings at the rear of the house.
