Description

This chest tomb, dating from the late 18th century, is located about 5 metres southwest of the tower of the Church of St Mary in the churchyard. It is made of Ham stone, with its base buried. Each face features one fielded panel and single-panel pilasters on the sides. The hipped top has moulded coving with rounded leading edges. The tomb commemorates Richard Cann, who died in 1791.
