DOWLISH WAKE CP ST3ISE DOWLISH WAKE VILLAGE 2/29 Unidentified monunent in churchyard, about 5 metres north east of Speke chapel, Church of - St Andrew

GV II

Chest tomb. Late C18/early C19. Ham stone. Step base; moulded plinth; one fielded panel each face, with 3-panel pilasters to flanks; moulded coving to hipped top with rounded leading edges. Inscription on south side not readable, but in view of proximity to the Speke chapel and the Manor House (qv), it is probably connected with the Speke family.
