Description
Number 69 is a house located on St Thomas Street, built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building is rendered and colourwashed over local rubble, with a clay pantiled roof that extends on both sides and brick chimney stacks at each end. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with three bays. The exterior features sash windows with 16 panes and a six-panel door set in a plain opening, accessed by four steps.
About 2 meters from the house is the front boundary wall, constructed of random stone with ashlar coping, which enhances the setting of the house and contributes to the overall streetscape. The roof of Number 69 continues the line of the roofs of Number 67 to the north and Number 71 to the south. The interior has not been inspected.
