Description

Road Menders is a pair of cottages that have been converted into a single unit, dating from the mid-18th century. The building is constructed of stucco and features a double Roman clay tile roof with coped gables and brick chimney stacks at either end. It is two stories high and has a three-window front with an off-centre entrance. The entrance is marked by a 20th-century vertical boarded door beneath a 20th-century porch. The windows are 16-pane sash windows set in plain stone surrounds.
