Description

This road bridge, located about 400 metres north of Rowland's Farmhouse, was built around 1800. It is constructed from Ham stone ashlar and features a single semi-circular arch. The bridge has plain parapets that are slightly curved in plan, with curl stop-piers at each corner. The top of the walling has a very slightly segmental plain finish. This bridge is similar in design to Bow Bridge, built in 1801, and Jordans South Bridge, built in 1782, both of which cross the same stream.
