Description
The Mount is an 18th-century house located in Halse. It is constructed of render with a slate roof and features brick stacks with alternate projecting courses. The building has a "T"-plan layout, with the side elevation facing the road to the east. It is two storeys high and has a long three-bay extension. The windows are 16-pane sash windows, and the entrance is on the extreme left, featuring a wooden trellis porch with a lean-to roof and a six-panel door. The left return, or south front, includes a single-storey decorative wooden verandah.
