Description

Church Hill Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Halse. The walls are rendered over random rubble, and the roof is thatched. A brick oven is built into the left-hand external stack, which is also rendered; there is a rendered stack on the right-hand side. The cottage is one and a half storeys high, with five bays. It has 2 and 3-light casement windows dating to the 20th century, along with 20th-century half-dormer windows in the roof. A door in a medieval style sits to the left of the centre. The north end of the cottage stands on a rounded plinth constructed of squared, coursed rubble masonry.
