Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard, 3 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Andrew. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of Ham stone, designed in a Soanian style. The tomb is rectangular in shape with slight chamfers at the corners. It features a plain stepped base and plinth, with the end and flank panels being plain and having a simple incised border. The top is moulded and has a fluted shell-like cap. Unfortunately, any inscriptions on the tomb have been lost.
