Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard about 2 meters southeast of the chancel of the Church of the Holy Cross. The tomb dates from 1693 and is made of Ham stone. The base is buried, and the chest features a panelled design with one panel on each end and two panels on each side. It has a heavy hipped top with rounded leading edges. The inscriptions on the tomb are covered in ivy and worn, but the date 1693 is still discernible.
