Description

Merricks Farmhouse is a building with 19th-century features, though it retains an earlier core. It is constructed of colourwashed rubble with a double-Roman tile roof, coped verges, and brick stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has four bays. The ground floor features 3-light casement windows with horizontal glazing bars, each set beneath a wooden lintol. A plank door is positioned in the second bay from the left, protected by a flat hood supported on ornamental wrought-iron brackets.
