Description
Huckelbridge is a house that dates from the 16th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of colourwashed rubble and some brick, topped with a thatched roof and featuring brick stacks. The building is single storey with an attic and has a symmetrical façade. On the first floor, there are three 20th-century two-light casements with glazing bars, each featuring bonnet hoods. The ground floor has three three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars; two of these have brick voussoirs, while one has a wooden lintel. The entrance features a broad door opening with a studded plank door set within a wide wooden architrave, and there is a thatched bonnet porch supported by thin wooden posts, resting on a brick base.
