Description

The churchyard cross, located 30 metres east of the east end of the Church of St Mary, is likely from the 15th century. It is made of dressed stone and features a tapering panelled shaft that is square in shape. Halfway up the shaft, there is a crocketted finial, and at the top of each side, there are relief decorations. The cross also has a later ball finial, which probably dates from the 17th century. It stands on an octagonal socket resting on a circular plinth, with three circular steps leading up to it.
