Description

The wagon shed and other outbuildings attached to the north side of Midney Farmhouse date from the 19th century. They are constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, with roofs made of clay pantiles and clay triple roll tiles, featuring coped gables and some with ball finials. The structure includes a two-storey, three-bay section that adjoins the farmhouse, which has a casement window and a pedestrian archway with a keystoned elliptical head. There is also a range of single-storey buildings that extend southwest, culminating in a tall wagon shed that has offset buttresses at the ends of its flanking walls. This group of buildings has good group value with Midney Farmhouse and the nearby barn.
