Description
Midney House is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared. It features a double Roman clay tile roof with stepped coped gables and brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with the centre bay being a small gabled projection. The upper storey has sash windows with 12 panes, set under stone lintels. The lower storey has simple double sash windows in plain openings, which are topped with flat voussoired arches. There is a plain open arch leading to the porch, with windows in the returns at first floor level and a gable vent above. To the north gable, there is a two-storey, one-bay extension that has no windows on the west-facing roadside elevation. The interior has not been seen.
