Description
The coach house and stables, now a dwelling, were built around 1826 by John Pinch for James Fussell. Constructed from Bath stone ashlar, the building features a plain band at the first floor level and a hipped slate roof that is set behind a cornice and parapet, with two ashlar stacks. The design is classical in style, comprising two storeys and three bays. The central bay projects slightly and is topped with a triangular pediment, beneath which is a semi-circular head sash window with glazing bars. The ground floor has a wide semi-circular archway, while the outer bays contain glazing bar sash windows. The left return side has two bays with casement windows featuring semi-circular heads on the first floor, situated below 20th-century openings.
