Description
The Moorings is a detached house located on Water Street, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from cut and squared Ham stone and features a Welsh slate roof with stepped and coped gables, along with brick chimney stacks at each end. The house has two storeys and three bays, with sash windows consisting of 16 panes set in plain openings that have keystoned lintels. In the second bay on the lower level, there is a flush panel door with toplights in a plain beaded opening, which is sheltered by a 20th-century open timber porch that has a cedar shingle roof. There is also a lower extension to the south gable. The interior has not been seen.
