Description
Snowdon Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 18th century. The garden front features rough ashlar stone, while the rest of the building is rendered over limestone rubble, with some stone exposed at the rear. The cottage has a hipped L-shaped thatched roof, with independent hipped pantile infill that completes a square plan. It is two stories high and has a symmetrical three-window arrangement on the garden front. This includes two late-19th century two-storey canted bays with horned 2/2-pane sash windows, and an early 19th century four/eight-pane sash window at the center of the first floor. There is a circa 1960 French window to the right on the ground floor, along with a glazed sun-room at the entrance. The thatched roof, which has wide boarded eaves, extends over the bays. The rear of the cottage features 20th-century windows and a door. The interior has not been inspected.
