This is a 19th-century milepost made of cast iron. It has a V-shaped design with a canted top and features raised lettering that indicates the distances to Glastonbury (5 miles), Shepton Mallet (4 miles), and Taunton (26 miles). This milepost is part of the Shepton Mallet Turnpike Trust.
