Description

Milestone located 20 metres south of the front of Daubrey House. This milestone dates from the early 19th century and is made of cast iron. It features a plain rectangular tablet on a moulded plinth with a hipped cap, all cast as a single piece. The north side has raised lettering that reads "Bath 10 Miles". It was created for the Black Dog Turnpike Trust, which was established around 1777.
