Description

The churchyard gate piers, gates, and lamp overthrow at Christ Church date from around 1824. They consist of a pair of tall ashlar gate piers set on moulded plinths, topped with cross gabled caps that feature crockets. The gates are made of cast iron and are railed, with each rail adorned with a poppy head design. Additionally, there is a decorative wrought iron lamp overthrow that supports a 20th-century lamp.
