Description
Langham Cottage is a house dated 1721, with early 19th-century alterations. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble and features a triple Roman tile roof. There is a brick ridge stack on the left and a rubble stack on the right, capped with brick. The building has a symmetrical frontage with two storeys and three bays. On the first floor, there are paired 12-pane sash windows in plain stone surrounds, with a central stone dividing mullion. The ground floor has a single 12-pane sash window in a plain stone surround, alongside a 20th-century half-glazed door that is topped with a flat wooden hood supported by wrought iron brackets. Above the door opening is a square stone plaque inscribed with "W H 1721."
