Description

Weekhayes is an early 19th-century house located on Houndsmoor Lane in Milverton. The building is rendered to resemble ashlar stone and features quoins, a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves, and wooden soffits. It has brick stacks on both sides and one on the left side of a projecting wing. The house has an "L"-shaped plan, with the main block and an independently roofed projecting wing on the left, which shares similar architectural details, although the return wall has 20th-century windows. The main block is two stories high and consists of two bays, featuring 20-pane sash windows on the right and round-headed sash windows on the left, above a 20th-century flat-roofed square porch with a fanlight and a six-panel door. The facade of the wing also has two bays with 20-pane sash windows. The interior has not been viewed.
