Description
Sexey's House Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Poolbridge Road in Blackford. The building features stucco that is scribed to resemble ashlar, with end pilasters and a slate roof that has coped verges ramped to paired diagonally set brick stacks. The symmetrical frontage consists of two storeys and three bays, with 16-pane sash windows that have stepped voussoirs. The central door opening has a semi-circular head and is framed by an emphasized surround with stepped voussoirs. The door itself is a six-panelled design, with the top four panels glazed and a fanlight above that has radiating glazing bars. There are rubble walls on either side of the frontage, and the wall along the roadside is made of stone slabs set upright, featuring a central 20th-century gate.
