Description
Forest Lodge Cottage is an early 19th-century lodge constructed of local stone rubble, laid in courses. It has a hipped roof covered with patterned fish-scale tiles and bonnet hips, and a brick chimney stack centrally positioned along the short ridge. The cottage is a single-storey, two-bay structure. It features angled bay windows, each with a 1-1-1 pattern of lights set within patterned cast iron casements. A six-panel door sits in a plain opening, covered by an exposed timber lintel, positioned between the bay windows. A small-pane casement window is located on the side. The interior was not inspected during the listing assessment. This building is of group value.
