Description

Grove House is a farmhouse, likely dating from the mid-18th century, with 19th-century extensions to the north and northwest, creating a right-angled wing. The farmhouse is built with rubble walls and has a tiled, gable-ended roof. Brick stacks are located at the ends of the original range. It is two storeys high and has an irregular arrangement of windows. The windows are 2-light casements with leaded lights, all set beneath wooden lintels. A porch is located in the angle between the two wings. Internal features, as recorded by the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (RCHM), include an open fireplace with a moulded stone surround.
