Description
This is a house, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is situated in Bourton Chaffeymoor Hill. The house is constructed with whitewashed rendered and rubble walls, and has a gabled cross wing to the right. The roof, which is pantiled and dates to the 20th century, is gabled and incorporates brick stacks at both ends and partway along the ridge. The house has two storeys and a four-window front. Most windows are 3-light casements with glazing bars, while those in the cross wing feature some leaded lights. A 20th-century ribbed door is located in the second bay from the left. It is believed the building may have originally been two cottages.
