Description

School Cottages are two cottages that were formerly a school and an attached cottage, dating from the mid-17th century. They are constructed of Doulting rubble with plain tile roofs and brick and rubble stacks. The symmetrical gabled facade features two and three storeys with a layout of two bays on one side and three on the other. The three-storey section has two and four-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned windows, with a window in the gable at the third storey and a glazed door set in a recess to the left. The two-storey section has outer bays in gables and two-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned windows, along with a reproduction ribbed and studded door.
