Description

Nut Tree Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse. It is built of roughcast, with a concrete tile roof, coped verges, and 20th-century brick end stacks. The symmetrical design features two storeys and three bays, with 16-pane sash windows and stepped voussoirs above them. A central door opening is set within a segmental headed recess, also featuring stepped voussoirs, and leads to a half-glazed door. A single-storey outshut extends to the left, topped with a coped verge and a finial. A rubble forecourt wall rises to each side and to the central gate piers, which have hipped caps. A 20th-century wrought-iron gate completes the entrance.
