Description

This is an early 19th-century house with a forecourt wall. The house has a roughcast exterior, a slate roof with coped verges, and brick stacks at each end. It presents a symmetrical frontage with three bays and 12-pane sash windows on both floors. The central doorway has a moulded architrave, and a six-panelled door with the top two panels glazed, covered by a wooden hood supported by brackets. The forecourt wall is constructed of rubble with a plain stone coping. It has emphasised caps to the central gateway, which includes a 20th-century wrought-iron gate.
