Description

Westholme Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse built from coursed and squared rubble, topped with a double Roman tile roof and featuring coped verges and three brick stacks. The building has two storeys and consists of six bays, with three-light casement windows that include leaded lights. Many of these windows have iron-framed centre lights equipped with latch plates and quadrants. The wooden lintels above the windows add to the character of the structure. The door is located in the third bay and is a four-panelled design, with the top two panels being glazed. It is adorned with a flat wooden hood supported by scrolled wooden brackets. To the right of the farmhouse, there is a section of coursed rubble wall with plain capping.
